How Do You Get An Epc Rating
To get an EPC rating, you need to hire a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor who will visit your property to conduct an energy assessment. The assessor will take into account various factors such as the age and construction of the property, insulation, heating systems, and lighting. After the assessment, the assessor will provide you with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) that rates your property’s energy efficiency on a scale from A to G, with A being the most efficient and G being the least efficient. This certificate is valid for 10 years and is required when selling or renting out a property. It provides valuable information on how to improve your property’s energy efficiency and reduce energy bills.
