According to the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020, all rental properties must undertake EICR testing every five years.
Additionally, EICRs must be secured every 10 years for private properties and every five years for Houses with Multiple Occupation (HMO).
EICR assessments usually take 2-3 hours depending on the size of the property as well as the extent of testing needed. If an installation is found to be defective, we will provide a quote for the appropriate remedial work.
